South Africa’s COVID-19 cases surpass 20,000 mark


JOHANNESBURG – South Africa’s COVID-19 related fatalities have gone up by 28.

This brings the total national coronavirus death toll to 397.

As of Friday evening, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in South Africa is 20,125.

The total number of recoveries to date is 10, 104.

The Department of Health says a total of 543, 032 tests have been conducted with 17, 599 done in the last 24-hour cycle.
